We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Warehouse Associate to join our team in Byhalia, Mississippi. In this role, you will handle a variety of warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials. You'll also assist with counter sales, general housekeeping, and quality assurance duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service. Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm or until work is completed.Key Responsibilities:· Receive and verify incoming shipments· Enter purchase order receipts into computer system· Perform quality assurance inspections when required· Place received materials into proper warehouse storage locations· Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment (including assemble & hold orders)· Prepare bills of lading and express receipts· Load and unload trucks· Maintain and complete local delivery and pick ticket records· Handle returns and inspect returned materials· Keep warehouse and parking areas clean and orderly· Assemble/disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed· Maintain preventative maintenance programs for delivery vehicles and equipment· Record and report customer complaints and assist in resolution· Replenish and maintain counter stock· Support over-the-counter sales as neededQualifications:Experience:A minimum of 1 year Forklift experience on Crown EquipmentBasic computer proficiencyPrevious experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferredKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, or construction-related productsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multi-task and follow instructionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam-oriented with a customer-first mindsetPhysically able to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stoop,Experience with forklifts or heavy equipment is a plusEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredWhat's in this for you?Weekly pay starting at $Competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Thousands of free upskilling courses through Adecco's Aspire AcademyClick on apply now for immediate consideration for this Warehouse Associate role in Byhalia, Mississippi!Pay Details: $18.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
