Summary/ObjectiveThe Panning Helper is a supportive role to the Panner. The Helper will also learn the Panning technique and process to better assist.Essential Functions * Completes all necessary audits that is required to maintain BRC and safety standards
Makes suggestions on improving work procedures
Retrieves raw ingredients for batches
Mixes and weighs out dry ingredients for recipes (Yogurt and Compound)
Loads and unloads pans
Scans racks on scale to document weight
Scrapes pans between products or as needed.
Verifies work orders and lot numbers for proper tracking purposes
Performs necessary cleaning at the beginning and end of each shift

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional manufacturing environment. This position requires most of the work to be performed on the manufacturing floor in an area that requires a lab coat to be always worn This position requires most of the work to be performed on the manufacturing floor in an area that requires hearing protection. This role uses finished products and requires sanitation, good hygiene, and good manufacturing practices to be applied.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Throughout the day the employee will need to lift or pull up to 50 lbs. of material, depending on the department.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, 5 am to 2:00 pm. Times may fluctuate depending on department and during the year to accommodate production schedules.Required Education and ExperienceSome college or experience in related fields: leadership, management, operations, manufacturing, business, food preparation, safety standardsQualifications * At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing and food environment.
Demonstrate skill in using production entry systems.
Basic; math, writing, speaking, and spelling skills.
