
Senior Network Security Engineer- Dept. 20

- Ensure systems are compliant with Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN) requirements.
- Maintain multiple SSPs and other documentation for compliance.
- Coordinate with ISSOs and Information System owners as needed.
- Evaluate configuration of networking equipment.
- Update hardware and software as needed.
- Perform vulnerability scans, install patches.
- Provision accounts and containers to information systems; perform data transfers.
- Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, plus eight (8) years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience with Windows & Linux systems at the command line, particularly installing OSs, mounting images, package installs, IP networking.
- Experience with VMs using ESXi, Nutanix; additional networking skills such as configuring ports, Cisco switches, NTP and/or chronyc.
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
- Familiarity with Xacta, LatteArt, SEAR.
