Department: Front Office | Reports to: Patient Services ManagerWe’re seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role—primarily focused on in-person check-in/out duties, with occasional phone coverage as needed. This role is key in creating a welcoming, efficient front desk experience and supporting overall patient satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist patients at check-in and check-outVerify insurance and collect co-pays/balancesSchedule appointments and maintain accurate recordsOccasionally provide phone coverage: triage calls, schedule, and assist patientsQualifications:Medical office or ophthalmology experience preferredStrong communication, organization, and customer service skillsFamiliarity with EMRs, Microsoft Office, and multi-line phone systemsSome college or degree preferredYou’ll thrive in this role if you're friendly, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
