Our beautifully renovated PGA Championship Golf Course was named #1 Best Golf Course Renovation in Avid Golfer Magazine for 2019. Avid Golfer in 2021 gave the Club a ranking of #1 Elite Country Club in the DFW area and best pool hangout. Among other awards the club also has a Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service. Our staff consists of a wide range of professionals who are well recognized in areas of Tennis, Golf, Fitness and Culinary. The Club provides opportunities for career growth through on the job training, increased work experience and internships for graduating students. Northwood Club has a family-oriented environment with friendly members, great staff, and an amazing landscape to come to work to every day.We are currently looking for a full-time security officer to provide and maintain security and safety of people and property of Northwood Club at all times with the ability to enforce Club rules, policies and regulations. This would be the overnight shift. Level 3 or higher prefered but not required.Essential Duties:
  • Visual to everyone entering and exiting club property.
  • Verify all incoming traffic, alerting staff of deliveries, guests for dinner, and directing guest and vendors where to park.
  • Properly authenticating members and employees who enter onto property. Documenting guests in the guest log.
  • Patrols property checking for suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
  • Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to clubhouse manager or general manger for correction of follow-up actions.
  • Observes activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce club rules/regulations; alerts visitors of infractions.
  • Assists any persons on property needing directions or club information.
  • Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations.
  • Knows club's emergency response manual, security's role and procedures for all emergency situations as documented.
  • Submit daily incident report at end of each shift.
  • Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager/Supervisor.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart
  • Comply and knows all safety policies of the Club as well as federal laws pertaining to OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Attends staff meetings when required
