Manage the PRIME BEEF and Mobility programs for the CE unit. Procure, store, and maintain mobility equipment and home station training equipment as required by specific Equipment and Supply Listing (ESL), and Allowance Source Codes (ASC). Perform work for the planning and management of the administrative budget and related financial documents. Establish and develop training programs and classes for PRIME BEEF, OJT and wartime task training. Develop unit mobility and deployment plans to meet worldwide contingencies. Maintain contact with NG ANG/A7XX, A3, Al and S-Team to ensure currency and accuracy concerning management of CE wartime operations and PRIME BEEF Program requirements.   • This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.

  • Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Applicant must complete a Baseline Pre-Placement Screening for General Schedule positions within 30 days of appointment.

  • For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
  • Mission essential personnel report for duty at normal times when the unit is closed or delayed reporting and remain on-duty during phased or early release.
  • May occasionally be directed to work other than normal duty hours.
  • May require travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
  • The work may require the incumbent to drive a motor vehicle; if so, an appropriate valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • May be required to wear special protective clothing such as coats, boots, vests, gas masks, and/or helmets and may be exposed to high levels of noise such as aircraft engines.
QualificationsMilitary Grades: E-6 through E-8Compatible Military Assignments: 3E0XX, 3E1XX, 3E2XX, 3E3XX, 3E4XX, 3E5XX, 3E6XXGENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 24 months specialized experience or 1 year equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience in applying statistical analysis and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature. Experience validating status of on hand property and equipment regarding excess property postures, turn-in procedures, equipment/supply receipt procedures, processing statement of charges, posting adjustments to property records.
