One of California’s most highly respected senior living communities is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join their leadership team. This is an award-winning, financially stable organization with a strong legacy of excellence in long-term care.We’re looking for a Director of Nursing with proven leadership experience in senior living or hospital settings who is ready to take their career to the next level.   • Lead and oversee all operations of the Nursing Department
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal standards
  • Promote a healthy physical, social, and psychological environment for residents
  • Anticipate and proactively respond to resident and staff needs
  • Provide oversight and guidance on clinical practices and staff training
  • Foster a culture of continuous development and high-quality care
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • 5–7 years of nursing experience in long-term care
  • 5+ years of management/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
  • Strong leadership and goal-setting abilities
  • Skilled in coaching and developing high-performing teams
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly manages subordinate supervisors and their teams within the Health Center
  • Responsible for hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
  • Ensures department operations comply with organizational policies and applicable laws
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
  • Deep understanding of geriatric care, chronic medical conditions, rehabilitation, and independence promotion
