POSITION SUMMARYTo meet the needs of the patient and to support the unit by providing a variety of clinical services with an emphasis on assisting physicians with procedures in the Endoscopy unit. To perform cleaning and patient care duties working independently under the supervision of the Endo Team Leader.
QualificationsEducation/Qualification
  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education and job experience as stated in the MST Comparable Education Policy
  • At least one year, preferably more, experience as an Endoscopy tech/assistant.
Skills
  • Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity
  • Able to speak and write English Fluently
  • Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
