Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding site access protocols. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with site-specific procedures and information.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
  • A valid driver's license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
