
Senior Associate, Continuous Improvement Change Agent

- Participate in Change Agent training programs including orientation and community of practice sessions: You will receive extensive training on the Continuous Improvement methodology provided through both formal training programs and on-the-job coaching by experienced Change Agents.
- Play a leadership role across the major phases of Continuous Improvement deployment—diagnostic, design, implementation, and replication.
- Conduct diagnostic work within a deployment: Work closely with frontline associates, managers, leaders, and other stakeholders to perform diagnostic analyses using walkthroughs, interviews, and lens assessments to evaluate current state performance.
- Facilitate future state design work within a deployment: Customize Continuous Improvement tools (e.g., huddle boards, standard work, problem solving approaches) to fit New York Life’s culture and business context. Develop and implement solutions to address top diagnostic opportunities.
- Support the implementation phase within a deployment: Lead implementation by coaching leaders, role modeling CI behaviors, developing balanced performance metrics, and supporting rapid prototyping of operational changes.
- Support the replication phase within a deployment: Help replicate the future state model across broader teams. Provide coaching, lead root cause problem solving, and model Continuous Improvement leadership behaviors.
- Experience in process improvement, change management, or business operations
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyze operational data and synthesize insights
- Comfort with coaching leaders and frontline staff
- Familiarity with performance metrics and continuous improvement methodologies
