Title: ACA Tracking and Reporting SpecialistReports To: Employee Benefits Product ManagerLocation: East Lansing, MIDepartment: Employee Benefit ServicesSET SEG is looking for a detail-oriented ACA Tracking and Reporting Specialist who will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to direct business offices’ personal and their ACA team members. They will do this through supporting ACA teams by reviewing reports and processing changes as it relates to employers ACATR Process and ACA regulations. The ACA Tracking and Reporting Specialist will need to be up to date on laws and regulations impacting the ACA, as well as have a working knowledge of our ACA Tracking and Reporting system. This position will work directly with the ACA Team to accomplish these tasks.   • Delivers outstanding customer service to district business offices personnel and their ACA team members via electronic, video, tele-conferencing, and in-person communications as needed
  • Takes the initiative to learn the complex ACATR requirements in order to assist clients with their questions
  • Supports the ACATR team by reviewing reports and processing changes as it relates to the employers ACATR process and ACA regulations
  • Works in collaboration with the ACATR Team to maintain and promote customer ACA compliance needs
  • Regularly attends and serves as an active participant in scheduled video, tele-conferencing, and in-person ACA Team, department, vendor, and company meetings
  • Provides support by documenting, updating, and closing Customer Support Center ticket requests
  • Keeps up to date on laws and regulations impacting the ACATR regulation changes, and IRS form processing requirements
  • Obtains working knowledge of the ACATR system used to securely collect and aggregate data necessary to manage the ACATR service
  • Assists in the investigation and resolution of inquiries related to the ACATR service via electronic, video, tele-conferencing, and in-person communications
  • Investigates ACATR file upload processes and makes data corrections as prescribed by customers
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree and 2+ years’ experience in related fields such as Employee Benefits/Human Resources/Accounting/Payroll administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrates professional attitude and maintains confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills using databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft products to review reports and assist with analyzing data
  • Ability to multi-task and properly prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of employee medical benefits
  • Experience with payroll administration
  • Compliance background
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Several hours per day at a sit/stand desk, average mobility to move around an office environment; able to spend several hours per day at a computer.
