American Heritage Credit Union, a $5+ billion credit union, has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing Content Developer.This position will perform day-to-day coordination and execution of a variety of digital marketing initiatives, including website content, event and email marketing support, and social media initiatives/content. Develop content for various marketing categories including but not limited to social media, video, podcasts, email, infographics, blog articles, and financial education assets, with distribution also required. Promote American Heritage Credit Union and the Kids-N-Hope Foundation's online media brand reputation through the development and execution of results-driven digital campaigns and initiatives in the areas of member financial education, product promotions, and event communications with the goal of increasing member engagement.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Research, write, gather, organize, and edit information for publication on American Heritage Credit Union's digital assets to create a streamlined digital member experience and increase American Heritage's web presence, actively monitoring industry best practices and competitors to keep American Heritage up to date on trends and remain viable in the digital space.
  • Facilitate efforts across Marketing team, at the direction of department management, in the development of new content initiatives, routine and experimental content generation, scheduling, and overall marketing support, including meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Supervise digital editorial content calendar weekly, monthly, and quarterly for short- and long-term marketing initiatives which includes, but not limited to email, social, and digital marketing initiatives between the digital marketing team.
  • Maintain and manage content library and editorial/production calendar, including written and video assets on social media, blog and web channels; Act as primary content creator for social media posts, video education library and Content Hub infographics, quizzes, and other assets as needed; Ensure that all content related assets (working files, icons, etc.) are organized and accessible in the shared drive for all department members to access.
  • Coordinate shooting, editing, and production of video for use by the credit union through all of its electronic channels for marketing, education, and public relations purposes.
  • Assist Marketing department management in development of strategy and organization of digital/financial content goals that relate to companywide goals and strategic initiatives related to member communication and education; Work alongside management to make decisions on best tactics and resources to achieve these goals.
  • Facilitate posting and positioning of day-to-day content for social media, website content sections, blog, etc., ensuring graphics and tone of voice are on brand and consistent across all channels; Liaise with other departments where collaboration and subject matter expertise is required for new content projects such as interviews, photography, video, and research.
  • Responsible for Key Performance Indicators of content as established by department management, including pageviews, downloads, and other consumption metrics related to content; Work with analytics team to utilize search results, form submissions, and member feedback to be translated into new content needs and future projects for actionable results.
  • Develop blog content, maintenance, and timely publication of editorial calendar, including but not limited to blogs or other social media assets as well as opportunities for integration on email, website and other brand reputation assets; Organize production and quality control of content, providing updates to Marketing department management.
  • Research new partnerships with vendors and software to improve our financial wellness outreach for new technologies, emerging segments, and underrepresented demographics.
  • Collaborate with department management to ensure a consistent brand look and voice across all marketing efforts and channels.
  • Track performance of financial education initiatives by submitting metric decks and project updates; Provide management with appropriate tracking and reporting of financial wellness efforts.
  • Create, post, and oversee related social media posts, emails, and web postings on Eventbrite, Facebook, and the American Heritage website to promote awareness of webinars.
  • Work alongside Marketing colleagues to develop and post Kids-N-Hope social media and website content.
  • Coordinate and promote, via digital and social channels, various special events hosted by the credit union as needed.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of marketing automation among channels of responsibility.
  • Provide digital marketing and social media support for brand reputation tool as directed by Marketing department management.
  • Perform basic development and design revisions to digital assets as needed (eg. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Financial services and non-profit experience a plus.
  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
  • HubSpot Marketing Software Certification at or within six months of hire.
  • Experience in developing, executing, and tracking email campaigns required.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining content and measuring engagement on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other digital channels required.
  • Experience with Eventbrite or another event tracking program preferred.
  • Experience with search engine optimization/search engine marketing (SEO/SEM) content creation required.
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems, email application service providers, social media, and other digital channels required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent design software (Canva).
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
