If so, then this might be the opportunity for you to bring both of those together to start your upward mobility on your new career path!**Training and development will be provided in this role so we don’t require you to have directly related experience.**Summary - Engineering Field Technician – CMT: We are currently seeking candidates interested in working in a hands-on, field-based role performing tests on construction materials. This is a great opportunity for candidates who prefer to be working outdoors and are looking for 40+ hours per week. Overtime will be paid out at 1.5 times pay rate.Responsibility Summary - Engineering Field Technician - CMT:
  • Performs field quality control tests on plastic concrete.
  • Performs field density testing on soil, asphalt and aggregate.
  • Performs routine laboratory tests on soil, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials.
  • Prepares written daily field observation reports and summary reports.
  • Obtain and maintain all required safety training and certifications which could include, but are not limited to: OSHA 10 Hour, CPR/First Aid, and defensive driving.
  • Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualification Summary - Engineering Field Technician - CMT
  • High school diploma is required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering preferred but not necessary
  • Preferred experience in engineering field inspections
  • Preferred ACI Certification but not required
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to meet the compliance requirements (drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check)
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements
