Duration: 12 MonthsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support multiple Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear security documentation and discussions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple A&A systems/projects simultaneously with effective multitasking and communication skills.Collaborate with developers, engineers, project managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless security integration.Analyze and document security controls, artifacts, and processes to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation.Develop and maintain key security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), CONOPS, Contingency Plans (CP), User Guides (GUG/PUG), SOPs, and related A&A materials.Document Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) and provide supporting evidence in collaboration with system owners and engineering teams.Coordinate with customer and contractor security organizations to achieve ATD, IATT, and ATO for assigned systems.Support continuous monitoring activities for systems with existing ATOs.Bridge the gap between technical engineering implementation and clear, actionable security communication.Understand complex network environments, shared networks, and multi-enclave security designs.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree required.8+ years of relevant experience in Information Systems Security.Previous ISSE experience supporting federal or enterprise customers.Strong background in SaaS applications and Cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, private/hybrid).Certifications (at least one required):CISSPGSLC
