This role is for a day shift opening (6AM - 6:30PM) on Shift A (Sun /Mon/Tues, every other Wed). This comes with a comprehensive full-time benefits package, and there's no waiting period to enroll! Check out our NEW onsite fitness facility available to all employees 24/7 as well as our Tuition Reimbursement Benefit of up to $10,000 per calendar year!!!!Essential Responsibilities include:Performing manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspection, warehousing, equipment, supplies, and mailPreparing documentation and entering data into system including Warehouse Management softwareHandling high value equipment, materials, and hazardous materials in an industrial environmentCounting, weighing, and measuring incoming or outgoing materials to compare and identify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records of dataExamining incoming shipments for damage or shortages and correspond with the shipper to rectifyCompleting paperwork or forms required for documentationDetermining method of shipment optimizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesPreparing materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing necessary shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoicesCoordinating pick-up and delivery of material with service providersEnsuring documentation is compliant in collaboration with logistics and trade specialistsOperating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move stock or reorganize storageFilling orders and issuing materials, tools, and supplies per request; documenting transactions appropriatelyPhysically loading and unloading transported equipmentPerforming cycle counts and physical inventoriesUtilizing computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasksPerforming daily inspections of material handling equipmentPerforming work within standard operating procedures (SOP)Prioritizing work assignments based upon service commitment to customers and business needsPreparing and executing tasks for internal and/or external auditsOther Responsibilities:Performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programsOther duties as assigned by manager/ supervisorRequired Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience: Minimum one year warehouse experience, preferred experience with forklift / power jack / shipping / receivingFluency in English - both written & verbalPhysical Capacity Demands: Ability to perform work in a standing position for majority of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks). Able to lift, pull, and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift.
