Laboratory Technician Job Details
- Location: Claremore, OK 74017 (Oklahoma healthcare jobs)
- Setting: Hospital Laboratory (clinical laboratory jobs)
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens, Travel Contract
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 17, 2025 December 20, 2025)
- Shift: 11:00 pm 7:30 am, Monday through Friday (overnight laboratory technician jobs)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1580
- Scrubs: Solid color scrubs required; Hunter Green preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician
- Registered Laboratory Technician with ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or AMT (American Medical Technologists)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience with Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer
- Blood bank and pediatric laboratory experience required
- Phlebotomy skills preferred
- Perform laboratory tests and clinical procedures in chemistry, blood bank, and pediatric specialties
- Operate and maintain Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers
- Utilize Cerner Millennium for laboratory information management and reporting
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting of laboratory results to support patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital, laboratory, and healthcare protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
