
System Integration Technician II (Automated Vehicle Engineering)

- Perform system integration of AGVs, AMRs and peripheral equipment at customer locations.
- Responsible for on-site system installation, testing, debugging, commissioning, acceptance testing and support.
- Responsible for troubleshooting electrical circuits and mechanical components and repair of AGVs and AMRs.
- Provide installation supervision.
- Create/Improve documentation and procedures for AGV/AMR preventative maintenance and system integration.
- Create daily field reports, including customer and team related activities and resolutions.
- Create maintenance logs of AGVs and AMRs.
- Create commissioning plans and checklists.
- Support customer service calls and cases.
- Provide our customers with operation and maintenance training.
- Interfacing with customers.
- Collaboration with other teams on the project.
- Identify and raise any issues that may impact project quality, scope, timing, and cost.
- Recommend and implement process improvement.
- Read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot devices/components and resolve.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical problems.
- Experience with system integrations at customer sites.

- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Two-year experience in troubleshooting electromechanical and/or mechanical equipment, or equivalent preferred.
- A.S. in industrial, mechatronics, robotics, electrical or mechanical technician program or equivalent education preferred.
- AGV/AMR, Mobile Robotics, Automation, Controls Engineering, Material Handling Equipment, PLC programming and System Integration experience, is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ANSI B56.5 specification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, is preferred.
- Move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
- Visits to customer locations may require negotiating through an industrial facility, including, but not limited to, conveyor systems requiring climbing access ladders, negotiation screen guards, catwalks, and lifting and/or carrying objects up to 40 lbs.
