As an Associate Developer on our Technical Development team, you will support the technical
development of assigned styles from design concept through to production-ready hand-off. You will
assist in articulating the fit intent and overall aesthetic into 3D and physical proto samples and ensure the
fit and construction/BOM meets quality and cost expectations. You will help maintain specifications for
the products, style files, Bill of Materials, and samples associated with the product and related programs.
You will support the cross-functional team in construction and fit. You will participate in the review of fit
execution at each proto stage. You will foster a collaborative environment across the technical
development team and with cross-functional partners.How You Will Make a Difference:
- Support Mid and Senior-level Technical Developers (TDs) on assigned low-complexity new
Assist the team on carryover, blanks, and BOM administration.
- No direct people management responsibilities but contribute and lead where able. Actively seek support and guidance from senior team members.
- Support documentation and maintenance of style information, BOMs, and product
- Document relevant information in systems and utilize tools and templates to develop
clear messages and comments. Elevate any issues to the manager.
- Support fit sessions by taking notes and being mentored by senior team members in leading
- Utilize relevant software to begin pattern reviewing skills. Open and compare patterns, measure and walk pattern pieces. Develop fit issue identification skills and corresponding pattern corrections with manager oversight.
- Observe cross-functional interactions to develop an understanding of key roles and responsibilities. Connect with cross-functional partners to increase knowledge and perspective.
- Execute specific tasks within the scope of a project as delegated. Participate in special

- Work with manager to plan individual workload as it relates to key calendar dates. Advise workload status and provide feedback when prompted regarding experiences.
- Help execute sample preparation, storage, organization, and purging as necessary and as delegated.
- Degree in Technical Design, Apparel Design, Patternmaking, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in Apparel Technical Design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including fluency in English (any other language is a plus).
- Basic product acumen with knowledge of apparel product development
- Good collaboration skills and an ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Bill of Materials, Specs, and tech packs with experience in PLM/PDM
- High degree of agility and adaptability with an ability to work under pressure and navigate
