A wrist scanner will let you know what to do and where to go next. You will work on several different teams as needed. Below is a sampling (but not comprehensive) of responsibilities on the different teams.Receiving/put away will include:
- Putting lenses in correct inventory locations and rotating stock
- Picking orders for customers and branches
- Informing managers, supervisors or coordinators of stock-outs
- Verifying orders and correcting discrepancies
- Boxing orders in correct containers or boxes with correct documentation and applying address labels
- A high school diploma or GED
- The ability to:
- Communicate effectively to managers and peer on a daily basis
- Meet and exceed production goals
- Correctly use RF devices (scanners) as needed; experience with scanners is a plus
- Basic reading and mathematics ability
- Maintain very high levels of accuracy in work assignments
- Work cooperatively as a member of a team and participates in team meetings
- Inventory and warehouse management system experience
