Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II-MTO. The core hours are 5:45am to 2:15pm. The hourly rate for this position is 22.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.## What you'll do:
  • Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
  • Troubleshoot various machinery problems
  • Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
  • QC and document all parts run on machines
  • Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
  • Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
  • Keep work areas clean and safe
  • Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
## Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Reno, NV (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
  • Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
## Position Criteria:
  • Able to operate machinery and presses safely
  • Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
  • Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
  • Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
  • Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
## Additional Information:Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
  • Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
  • Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
  • Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
