Aleknagik Technology, LLC (ATL) is seeking an Application Developer Task Lead in Rock Island, IL to provide the following:JOB DEFINITION: Oversees daily project operations and manages task delegation,
execution, and control. Responsible for task schedules, project estimates and change
management processes on tasks. Provides guidance to the application development team and
works with the Program Manager to develop customized continual improvement plans and
standard operating procedures focused on the customer's mission. Leads In Process Review
meetings and provides status reports on tasks/projects assigned to the project team. The
functional Task Lead position is expected to be able to develop and code at a Senior Programmer
level about 75% of the time. To stay current as an SME, it is important to have the Task Leader
maintain knowledge on coding to better assist and guide the team. Accessible in-person during
business hours and via phone/email during non-business hours or when not on-site. Under
limited supervision, takes the initiative to see to it that tasks get completed as planned. Sees
things that can be approved upon and takes it upon themselves with very little direction from the
Program Manager to get things completed as requested.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following duties ARE NOT intended to serve as a

working under a federal contract.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Accurately records daily tasks and assignments to provide
metrics on task orders. Requires competence in all phases of system analysis and knowledge of
pertinent system software and of the work processes, applicable regulations, workload, and
practices of the assigned subject-matter area.Works independently under overall project objectives and requirements; apprises Program
Manager about progress and unusual complications. Work is reviewed for accuracy of judgment,
compliance with instructions, and to ensure proper alignment.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Conducting Preventive Checks and Services
and providing oversight. Performs other duties as assigned or required.KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
  • Manage small team of Application Programmers to ensure projects and daily tasks are
completed in a timely manner. * Ensure software policies and procedures remain current.
  • Offers input to Program Manager for employee annual reviews.

  • Provides guidance to junior members of the team

  • The candidate must be capable of working hands-on with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
(including jQuery, jQuery plug-ins, and various other 3rd party JavaScript libraries), and
SQL. Must be capable of writing client and web-based applications using Classic ASP,
ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, C#, Oracle, SQL Server, and Microsoft Access. * Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012, Team Foundation Server, TOAD,and SQL Server Management Studio. * Experience with SharePoint 365, setup and configuration of SharePoint sites, and theability to consult end-users in the use of SharePoint as a collaboration and document
management system is required. * Perform software training and develop system documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five (5) years of combined experience of
specialized training and on-the-job experience in application programming. Experience must have
been acquired within the last ten years. Bachelor's degree is required. Experience must include
significant work with leading projects to successful completion. Minimum of two (2) years
leadership experience.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: May be required to work outside the traditional work
schedule to meet a deadline upon prior authorization.INVESTIGATION: A favorable NACI Tier I (T1) investigation is required prior to start. Federal
laws and regulations require that an individual's suitability and security eligibility be determined
for entry and retention into the federal government. All applicants applying for a position in the

This position requires a large amount of time sitting/standing at a computer.
