Qualifications
  • Education: IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT. IF RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: IF RT(R): Minimum one year Supervisory Experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures, preferred. IF RN: Minimum One Year Supervisory Experience in Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures, preferred.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: IF RT(R): ARRT, required. IF RN: State RN License, required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Exhibits leadership characteristics to include: listening to gain understanding, keeps promises made, supports the organization in word and deed, supports the staff, communicates effectively and asks for feedback, makes fair decisions based on the needs of all staff, shares knowledge to improve and challenge staff to be their best, treats others with fairness and respect, chooses competent, compatible staff, visualizes the big picture for the department as we relate to the organization, creates a personal connection with staff that fosters mutual respect, has a work ethic which is a model for the staff and motivates staff through encouragement and vision for the department. Ability to successfully complete department-specific skill validation and competency testing.
