- Scripting and Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain scripts using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages to automate routine tasks, streamline processes, and improve efficiency within the IT environment.
- PowerScale Cluster Support: Support for PowerScale clusters, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to optimize performance and reliability.
- Entra ID Sync and Exchange 2016 Support: Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Entra ID Sync and Exchange 2016 systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation with existing infrastructure.
- Jira Automation: Utilize Jira Automation to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve productivity within the IT department and across the organization.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, including desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, and networking equipment, to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Hybrid Environment Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and support hybrid environments, encompassing on-premises and cloud-based systems, to meet business needs and ensure scalability and security.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to IT-related issues and requests, diagnose and resolve technical problems, and provide timely support to end-users to minimize disruptions and downtime.
- Manage Active Directory Certificate Services: Maintain existing Active Directory Certificate Authority server, assist and troubleshoot installation of certificates onto internal systems.
- Manage and Installation of License Servers: Install and configure software licenses servers such as FLEXlm, maintain existing license servers, coordinate deployment of new licenses with staff to minimize disruptions, create reports for compliance audits and renewals.
- Administer Intel Endpoint Management System: Keep Intel Endpoint Management server up to date and assist with registering and removing Intel vPro enabled endpoints.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and automation workflows, and actively participate in knowledge sharing activities to enhance the collective expertise of the IT team.
- Working hours and On-Call. Our ideal candidate is someone who can commit to working until 5:00 PM Pacific on weekdays, participate in monthly after-hours scheduled maintenance, and our emergency on-call rotation.
- Reliable communications in case of urgent infrastructure needs.

- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and update existing IT documentation as needed.
- Experience working in an MS Windows based office environment.

- US citizenship or permanent residency due to work with export-controlled material.
- Experience in a help desk or similar technology support environment.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships.
- Experience with issue tracking systems such as JIRA, etc.
- Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
