Join a tight-knit, collaborative team maintaining and enhancing a financial planning tool that's starting to gain fresh internal investment. You'll focus mainly on the front end with React but touch some Node.js as well. This is an ideal role for someone 1–3 years out of school who enjoys solving problems and working in a respectful team environment.What You'll Do:
- Enhance and maintain features using React
- Support back-end work in Node.js (training/growth encouraged)
- Collaborate closely with a small, distributed team and product manager
- Attend brief but meaningful team check-ins 3x/week
- Participate in new feature development, bug fixes, and UI improvements
- 3-5 years of professional experience with React
- Exposure to or interest in working with Node.js and CouchDB
- Solid grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Comfort working remotely and staying actively engaged with the team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Math background is a big plus—tool involves some Monte Carlo simulations
- Work on a financially successful product with a loyal user base
