Beginning with the end in mind, CHCA graduates young adults fully prepared to succeed in college and beyond, for lives of significant impact and influence.Position Overview:CHCA is seeking a full-time College Counselor to join its six-member counseling team. The successful candidate will work with a diverse group of students and families while seeking and highlighting the talents of each student with whom they work.Position Responsibilities Include:
Onboarding of new students and families
Career and college counseling
Program development
Group presentations and webinars
Use of college counseling software and applications
Availability for evening meetings and travel
Position Qualifications:
Five plus years of college counseling at the high school level (experience at the college level preferred)
Master's Degree
Ohio School Counseling License (preferred)
Financial Aid knowledge
Knowledge of current trends in college admission
Strong written and verbal skills
Detail oriented
Flexible in a fast-paced environment
