This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong grasp of production planning and cost analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Estimator at Larkin, you'll play a critical role in ensuring projects are accurately scoped and efficiently executed. You will:
  • Analyze materials, labor, machine time, and other production costs to develop accurate estimates
  • Collaborate with customers to recommend efficient design and layout options
  • Prepare and submit formal quotes based on project specifications
  • Assist in production planning and vendor coordination
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage purchase orders
  • Maintain supplier lists and support procurement activities
  • Participate in press checks and industry trade shows as needed
  • Maintain organized records to support operations and marketing efforts
QualificationsWe're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in estimating, customer service, or a production environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of cost accounting, production processes, and industry trends
  • Strong math skills and proficiency in Excel or other cost analysis tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to make accurate estimates even with limited data
