We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our data architecture strategy. You will be responsible for defining data models, frameworks, and standards that ensure data quality, integrity, security, and accessibility across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data architecture solutions that support business goals and analytics needs.Define data models, data flow diagrams, and metadata standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across data systems.Lead the integration of new data sources and manage data migration strategies.Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical designs.Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards in line with industry best practices and regulations.Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve data architecture and processes.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and data engineers.Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture, cloud computing, and big data.Participate in strategic planning and help drive the organization's data strategy roadmap.Required Qualifications:Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and database design.Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).Proficiency with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi).Solid understanding of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA).Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Preferred Skills:Experience in building data lakes and data mesh architectures.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of machine learning data pipelines and AI/ML platforms.Certification in data architecture or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
