- Oversee staff scheduling, work distribution, and patient flow to support consistent service delivery.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Troubleshoot operational or technical issues and coordinate timely resolution to avoid disruptions.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and manage team assignments across locations.
- Conduct orientation for new hires and ensure they are trained to perform safely and competently.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support staff growth.
- Address performance or conduct issues in alignment with HR policies and department expectations.
- Ensure continuous compliance with accreditation requirements from organizations such as TJC, ACR, or IAC.
- Monitor safety protocols, infection control practices, and documentation compliance.
- Lead quality assurance efforts and ensure consistency in imaging accuracy and patient care.
- Conduct routine performance reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement plans to address deficiencies or optimize services.
- Use data and staff input to support ongoing improvement initiatives and sustain results.
- Assist in annual budgeting and financial planning efforts.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Support equipment maintenance, service contracts, and capital planning as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, administrative leaders, and peer managers to align operational priorities.
- Engage staff in shared decision-making and maintain a culture of teamwork.
- Communicate policy updates, departmental goals, and organizational changes clearly and consistently.
- Address patient concerns or complaints in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Lead service initiatives to enhance patient comfort, education, and overall experience.
- Promote a patient-centered culture focused on safety, courtesy, and quality.
- Ensure policies reflect regulatory requirements, system-wide goals, and best practices.
- Maintain documentation that supports consistency and compliance across all operational sites.
- Participate in initiatives that align departmental policy with enterprise strategy.
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent Experience
- 2 years minimum supervisory experience with at least 5 years in hospital imaging services OR bachelor's degree and three years business experience.
- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS)
- The ideal candidate brings a clinical background in radiology, strong leadership capabilities, and experience in managing operations across complex healthcare environments.
- Operational knowledge of imaging modalities and workflows.
- Proven success in leading teams and improving performance.
- Commitment to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and patient-centered care.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Education - Bachelor-s degree in related field Experience
- 7 years minimum experience with at least 5 years in a management position
