Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and monitoring project schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring successful project completion with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost.   • Manage, monitor, and maintain project schedules.
  • Assign day-to-day tasks to project team members.
  • Read and understand scope from contract documents and drawings.
  • Effectively communicate project, department, and company requirements to project team or other stakeholders.
  • Manage assigned projects to successful completion, prioritizing safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Participate in or personally complete the design of complete control systems, including power distribution, device layout, network design, panel layout, and device selection.
  • Participate in or personally complete the programming, both HMI and PLC, of the complete control systems.
  • Create Descriptions of Operations for complete systems.
  • Participate in or personally complete the commissioning of complete control systems.
  • Manage a team of controls engineers.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in project management, controls engineering, material handling, and PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in project management practices and tools.
  • Strong experience in electrical engineering or a related area.
  • Experience with baggage handling systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in electrical project engineering.
Work EnvironmentThis role requires travel up to 50% of the time. The travel schedule is typically 10 days on and 4 days off, though flexibility is required. Meals during travel are covered with a per diem based on the GSA rate for the location. Additionally, the position offers 40 hours of PTO billed back and 6 paid holidays.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $67.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
