You’ll lead cross-functional teams, engage with suppliers, and ensure product and process integrity across the development lifecycle.This role is critical in aligning supplier performance with business needs for quality, delivery, scalability, and sustainability in both new and existing product lines.What You’ll DoLead and manage the APQP process for new products and continuous improvement of existing onesFacilitate communication across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customersDefine customer expectations and establish project goals, timelines, and deliverablesDrive product and process risk identification and resolutionEnsure quality standards are fully integrated throughout the product development processEvaluate new supplier capabilities and readiness through audits and assessmentsImplement quality planning tools within factories and supply chainsPromote and lead continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesTrack and report on APQP metrics to cross-functional teams and senior leadershipCommunicate process risks and mitigation plans effectivelySupport strategic supplier decisions in collaboration with Procurement and Category leadersMonitor supplier performance, manage escalations, and ensure timely part availabilityFoster a culture of accountability by defining and tracking KPIs aligned with organizational goalsWhat We’re Looking ForRequired:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field—or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in quality engineering and continuous improvement, preferably in HVAC or a related industryStrong knowledge of APQP, project management, and Lean manufacturing principlesProven hands-on experience with Six Sigma and Lean toolsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesDetail-oriented and quality-drivenPreferred:Certifications in Lean, Kepner-Tregoe, and Six Sigma, Project ManagementExperience working in matrix organizationsFamiliarity with supplier risk assessments and sourcing strategiesHIRING SALARY RANGE: $97,000-130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and
abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
