
Materials Sales Representative

- - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve profitability targets for liquid asphalt products.
- - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including contractors, municipalities, and distribution partners.
- - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
- - Collaborate with the terminal operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- - Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers to enhance their purchasing decisions.
- - Analyze, prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
- - Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Heartland Asphalt Materials products and services.
- - Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- - 3+ years of sales experience in the construction materials industry is highly desirable.
- - Strong understanding of liquid asphalt products and their applications preferred.
- - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- - Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
