Colleagues enjoy an award-winning culture that fosters a highly productive and results-driven working environment.A day in the life.As our Claims Supervisor on the Claims team, your role is to support property and casualty clients through the insurance claims process, focusing on resolving claims efficiently while safeguarding the client’s best interests. You will deliver exceptional service by educating clients on best practices in advanced claim management. Additionally, you will serve as an internal resource for complex claims and coverage issues, all while overseeing and mentoring a team.Our future colleague.We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- 5+ years of claims handling experience at an insurance company or TPA
- 2+ years of claims advocacy experience with a broker
- Supervises, mentors and trains Claim Service Representatives and Claims Consultants.
- Help establish annual team goals and project management throughout the year
- Strategically manages claims to mitigate client exposures, investigates outstanding requests, interprets coverage, and advocates for appropriate claims handling instructions to meet client preferences.
- Educates clients and internal teams on claims best practices, risk solutions, and coverage analysis, while proactively leading claim reviews and ensuring carrier participation.
- Supports client engagement by participating in meetings, providing tailored claims management insights, and performing related duties to ensure effective claims resolution and client satisfaction.
- Collaborates with Producers and/or Account Executives, service team and other internal departments to develop, execute, and monitor customized service strategies that create value, improve efficiencies, and support insurance decision-making, including risk analysis, coverage recommendations, and program adjustments.
- Builds strong client relationships through proactive communication, manages service plan execution across channels, ensures portal accuracy, and fosters a cohesive, enterprise-wide client service experience.
- Upon hire, Producers License for Casualty, Health, Life, as appropriate for role
- BS/BA Degree
- AIC, SCLA or CRIS Designation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
