
Electrical Engineer

- Design and specify electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, and lighting.
- Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective device coordination studies.
- Develop electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Review vendor submittals and coordinate with procurement and construction teams.
- Conduct site visits and provide field engineering support.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project planning and execution.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sectors.
- Proficiency in Electrical system design (MV/LV power distribution, grounding, lighting).
- Experience with NEC, IEEE, API, and/or NESC standards.
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, or similar power system analysis tools.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, controls, and industrial electrical systems.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- PE license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 6–15 years of experience in either O&G, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD Electrical, SmartPlant, Revit) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
