This position plays a critical role in supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities by managing services, supervising staff, and promoting person-centered, community-based support. If you're passionate about making a lasting impact and want a stable, rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you!Full Life is seeking a full-time Employment Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a flourishing non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on Hawaiʻi Island. This position supports individuals island-wide and supervises staff providing employment-related services.Duties include but are not limited to:Providing ongoing job coaching services, including on-the-job training and systematic instructionLeading person-centered employment planningFacilitating job development, job carving, or customizationNegotiating with prospective employersSupporting self-employment efforts, including business planning and identifying opportunitiesConducting worksite visits to assess and address individual or employer needsMonitoring and evaluating individual job performanceAdvising individuals on employment maintenance and problem-solvingTraining participants in communicating work support and accommodation needsAssessing need for basic job aids and referring for assistive technology servicesCoordinating referrals for financial literacy and budgeting servicesProviding information and training on benefits counselingTraining participants in using public or paratransit transportationSupporting career advancement planningMinimum Qualifications:Certification in rehabilitation counseling ORBachelor's Degree in any field AND one (1) year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving competitive integrated employmentTwo (2) years of supervisory experience preferredEmployment Requirements:HI State criminal background checkCAN clearanceNegative TB clearanceCPR & First Aid certificationValid driver's license and current insuranceVerification of educationBenefitsAt Full Life, we believe in empowering our team to thrive.
