- Expand existing accounts within an assigned portfolio for the organization's key or national, large complex customers below the global account level.
- Grow existing accounts within an assigned portfolio for the organization's key or national, large Government customers.
- Prospect and close new Government merchant accounts within an assigned geography. This includes prospecting, owning the sales representative role in RFPs, through to signing new client contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and information resource to clients, sales support, marketing, and management regarding ongoing operations.
- Obtain assigned sales quota through contract renewals and the sale of various products and services to assigned client portfolio in partnership with product sales SMEs.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or military experience.
- 8+ years of experience in sales and/or relationship management functions.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of solution selling and demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at a senior level with clients, gaining trusted advisor status.
- Experience with eCRM tools, tracking and reporting pipeline, and achieving sales targets.
- 8+ years of experience in long sales cycle “C-Level” (CEO, CFO, COO) sales/relationship management.
- Strong, tangible results in previous sales and account management role(s).
- 9+ years of experience in sales strategy and business development.
- Advanced understanding of public sector sales processes and regulations.
- 9+ years of experience using account strategy frameworks and client growth plans.
- Proven track record of influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing and managing complex contract negotiations and renewals.
