We seek a team player who desires and thrives in a collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills and strong design capabilities. This position will provide project level design leadership on high profile and transformative roadway and bridge design projects. Stantec has an extensive project management training and mentoring program.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop project management plans and establish project goals and objectivesInterface directly with clients and manage many aspects of a project autonomously to meet contractual obligations, schedule, and budgetManage established programProvide day-to-day leadership for team membersEngineering analysis and oversight of PS&E production for state and local highwaysClient coordinationProject Management, highway, roadway, transit, and bridge projectsAdditional responsibilities will include coordination of project team design efforts, leadership of client meetings and assistance with development of project proposalsYour Capabilities and CredentialsAbility to manage design teams and meet client requirementsExperience and knowledge working on and managing final roadway & bridge design and planning projectsExperience in alternate project delivery methods including design-build a plusDemonstrate initiative and attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skillsParticipate and develop responses to client proposalsDevelop business relationships with clientsParticipation in professional associationsGood driving record and valid driver’s license requiredEducation and ExperienceBachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering desirable.8 years’ experience in transportation (bridge, roadway, or transit) design and Project ManagementProfessional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Washington requiredTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.   • Locations in WA, DC & Various CA areas - Min Salary $ 122,700.00 - Max Salary $ 184,100.00
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
