The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of employment law, company policy, and ethical standards.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct confidential workplace investigations, including complaints of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations.
- Manage and resolve EEO-related concerns in accordance with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and EEOC guidelines).
- Document investigation processes and findings with clear, objective, and legally sound reports.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR Business Partners to ensure consistent and fair handling of employee relations issues.
- Track and analyze trends in performance issues, disciplinary actions, and investigations; recommend proactive solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of performance management strategies and progressive discipline practices.
- Assist managers in addressing employee performance concerns, coaching conversations, and development plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on company policies, EEO practices, and performance improvement approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on investigations, employee relations, or performance management.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and EEO regulations.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations, including interviews and case documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
