- Sustain daily review and communication process as a means to drive engagement and involvement of all plant employees.
- Organize work flow of Team Leaders and direct their short and long term development.
- Ensure all plant employees are responsible and accountable to maintain Glanbia GMP and site standards which include FDA, USDA and Idaho state standards.
- Ensure product quality and food safety by ensuring plant employee's sustains quality systems (HAACP, SQF, SOP, GMPs).
- Create a path of full compliance to environmental permits and all regulatory requirements.
- Review, update and ensure adherence to all Glanbia documentation procedures.
- Utilizes GPS processes, driving zero losses, and upholds the culture of Glanbia non-negotiables.
- Sustain inventories, ensuring full accuracy in the process.
- Assist with budgetary reports, analyze expenditure and track budgets.
- Ensure troubleshooting capabilities are developed with all operators and maintenance personnel.
- Communicate with maintenance to schedule machine downtime for teardowns and upgrades.
- Liase with maintenance department in developing preventive maintenance schedules, and make decisions regarding emergency maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to production schedule.
- Track and review throughput by maintaining robust review process.
- Ensure effective communication process that drives sustained performance.
- Ensure full application of Glanbia injury and near miss review process.
- Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Perform Salaried PDP process and provide feedback periodically on performance, including disciplinary and attendance occurrences.
- Identify training needs and conduct training when necessary.
- Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
- Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Fill in in absence of Plant Manager.
- Ensure after hours response in the event of plant outage and emergencies.

- Requires a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Understanding of TPM and similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiply projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources

- May be exposed to ____85+ noise levels in which hearing protection will be needed.
- May be exposed to humidity, intense heat, and fumes and toxic chemicals.
- May work in areas with mechanical moving parts, above ground with risk of fall, or areas with risk of electrical shock.
- Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
