- Responsible for company safety rules and conduct safety meetings, including tool box talks; ensure facilities are operating in a safe manner.
- Ensure company policies, procedures and work rules are met: discipline when necessary and document all employee performance issues.
- Supports plant manager in batching operations in an efficient and safe manner while complying with all local, state and federal regulations, including but not limited to: OSHA, MSHA, DEP, etc.
- Build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
- Produce quotes and proposals for projects of all sizes.
- Maintain strong understanding of all competitors' actions, pricing and strategy.
- Cost responsibility at their assigned locations. Strive to lower cost and increase productivity through efficiency and innovations.
- Conduct various meetings as directed by management.
- Manage jobsite quality control testing. Utilizes personnel to complete submittal process for applicable jobs within given timeframes.
- Conduct periodic forecast and maintain accurate inventory control.
- Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
- Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area.
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
- Strict adherence to SMG policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ACI Level 1 Field Certification.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Job requires climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, frequent lifting of extensions chutes, stretching, sitting/driving, shifting gears, and covering/uncovering load when applicable.
- Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and occasionally exert forces of pushing/pulling of 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock or burn.
- The noise level in some areas of the work environment may be loud, but is typically moderate.
