DESCRIPTIONAmazon is seeking a Program Manager, Learning & Development for Finance Operations Global Corporate Procurement (GCP). GCP is responsible for providing procurement standards, services, and technologies for Amazon organizations worldwide.The position will support GCP globally, reporting to the Career Growth and Development (CGD) Senior Manager. The L&D PM will be responsible for developing and delivering the talent development charter for GCP globally. This is a role that entails engaging with GCP leaders, HR business partners, and cross functional L&D teams across multiple geographies to understand business needs and leadership development challenges. In this role, you will design, plan, implement, measure, and scale new and existing talent development programs for employees at all job levels. You will own talent needs for the GCP organization cutting across skill building, leadership development, cultural assimilation and change management.We are looking for someone who can deliver learning solutions that meet the range of functional and leadership needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will think big, strategize, influence and communicate effectively, have bias for action, and balance resources/prioritization. The candidate should be able to partner and collaborate with internal L&D teams as well as external institutions/agencies to create and deliver content. This role is critical to the successful development, launch, scaling, and maintenance of world-class learning and development programs.This role will sit in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia, where Amazon will invest $2.5 billion dollars, occupy 4 million square feet of energy efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs. - Create and deliver an L&D roadmap for the business that helps the business scale and grow.
- Conduct training needs assessment on an ongoing basis to prioritize and define learning needs.
- Influence L&D outcomes by understanding leadership development needs and iterate on ideas and programs.
- Manage senior stakeholders and move forward in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge.
- Own programs for both junior and senior audiences.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in the area of Learning and Development.
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of development activities in relation to business goals on an ongoing basis.
- Utilize recent industry experience to make appropriate design decisions.
- Partner with peer managers to address cross-functional issues.
- Partner with regional L&D and business leaders to localize training programs.
- Deliver projects across geographies. You may participate in cross-company initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
