- Determines workforce requirements.
- Coordinates established area operational plans.
- Develops planning construction methods and procedures.Develops projections and schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements
- Participates in the review of project controls documents on progress relating to cost and schedule.
- Participates in the development of level 4 and level 5 project schedules
- Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Participates in the coordination of construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
- Participates with other subcontractors and external stakeholders (or subcontractors) to plan construction schedules
- Develops Commodity Installation means and methods
- Develops an understanding of industry and International Codes & Standards applicable to work scope.
- Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.
- Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
- Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
- Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
- Utilizes and leverages applicable automation software and processes as applicable
- Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
- Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
- Reports and reviews installed quantities to Field Engineering for verification and quantity claiming
- Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Ensures work methods planned and executed safely

- Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
- Implements core understanding of ES&H CPs Technical
- Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
- Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
- Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
- Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
- Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
- Works with superintendents in the preparation of construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
- Reviews installation work packages to foreman and general foreman
- Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
- Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
- Prepares testing processes and required test equipment
- Inspects installed components for technical acceptance.
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent or other senior site role responsible for leading and managing a multidiscipline work force.
- Experienced in civil and structural work including reinforced concrete activities, rigging/installation of precast caps and pipe piles, marine works including logistics and safety, managing/working from barges, cranes/lifting equipment and working near and over the water.
- Experienced working with supporting departments to advance work, including scaffolding, welding, and cranes/rigging.
- Direct hire construction experience on large scale Gulf Coast LNG project Prior experience with Bechtel Have working knowledge of structural construction operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H).
- Demonstrated commitment to a Zero Accident safety program.
- Must be computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Must be familiar with current industry quality standards.
- Basic ability to utilize the TeamWorks automation suite as the Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).
- Basic knowledge of work packaging and the ability to utilize project software to support work activities.
