- Leverage agency and national brand contacts to drive non-retailer advertising and sponsorship business development within the Tanger portfolio.
- Articulate the benefit of utilizing Tanger as a marketing medium to brands, agencies, and businesses at a Regional and National level. Opportunities include:
- static and digital signage, onsite event activation and engagement, display and QR code components, non-transactional real estate , onsite sampling, distribution of inserts and collateral, integration into social and digital media programs, etc.
- Work with other respective Account Managers to increase the footprint and frequency of buys across our open-air portfolio focusing on scalable clients and centers.
- Manage client relationships from pitch to sale through execution with an eye on long-term, sustainable growth.
- Develop a pipeline of qualified prospects large enough to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Leverage pre-existing and newly developed relationships with brands and agencies to grow revenue.
- Expedite the sales cycle through an understanding of client marketing needs and customized solutions.
- Inspire team members by contributing creative sales ideas that impact overall goals and objectives.
- Build deep trusted relationships/partnerships with decision-makers at brands and their agencies.
- Accurately forecast revenue and proactively mediate challenges that impede sales growth.
- You have an undergraduate degree with emphasis in sales, marketing or business and a minimum five years’ experience in sales, sponsorship, strategic marketing, event management, and budgeting in a shopping center environment or any equivalent combination of experience and education.
- You are extremely self-motivated, independent, energetic person who can handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- You possess the ability to use sales techniques to grow new accounts, renew existing accounts and achieve value- added results during negotiations
- You easily establish positive professional working relationships and provide additional value within the department, across business units and with clients
- You have the ability to coach and support team members to develop and improve performance and guide team to reach sales goals and lead others through managing work and solving problems.
- You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You are detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
