This position offers a $3000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers only. As an OTR Truck Driver, you will travel long distances to deliver freight to various locations, enjoying the freedom of the open road. We offer direct deposit, regular pay increases at 6 and 12-month anniversaries, and additional pay increases at 2, 3, 5, and 7-year anniversaries. Payday is every Friday. Our drivers enjoy 100% no-touch freight, with 50% drop and hook, making for efficient and hassle-free deliveries. Additionally, you have the option to take the truck home for time off, providing flexibility and convenience.Responsibilities:1. Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, over long distances to deliver freight to various destinations.2. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning.4. Secure cargo as needed and ensure proper distribution of weight for safe transport.5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shippers, and receivers to coordinate delivery schedules and provide updates on shipment status.6. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and hours of service in accordance with regulatory requirements.7. Monitor and report any issues or concerns with the vehicle or cargo to the appropriate personnel.8. Follow designated routes and ensure on-time delivery of goods while minimizing delays and detours.9. Demonstrate professionalism and courteous behavior when interacting with customers and other road users.10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, compliance, and vehicle maintenance.Requirements:1. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.2. Minimum of 1-year OTR experience in the last 3 years. Alternatively, 6 months of experience in the last year is acceptable if it includes completion of a student training program either at any carrier having a known, structured, driving program of at least 120 hours or a certified truck driving school. Requires Certificate of Completion or Contract if subsidized by another carrier.3. Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screening.4. Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.5. Excellent driving skills, including maneuvering and backing up large vehicles in various road and weather conditions.6. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures and protocols.8. Flexibility to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.9. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of long-distance driving and cargo handling.10.
