And because of our ability to produce your parts from start to finish, we offer all the advantages of reduced inventories, shorter cycle times, one-point invoicing, and reduced scrap.Summary of Duties: Assist Lead Chemical Technician with workflow, training, safety, quality, design, and development of new processes. Performs other duties and applicable projects as assigned by management.What You'll Do:
  • Make chemical adds to tanks using TrueChem program.
  • Enters and Analyzes data using TruChem program.
  • Coordinates the changing of tanks, tank maintenance, and tank dumps with chemical maintenance technician and waste treatment personnel.
  • Ensures that all safety rules are always followed.
  • Performs both preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance, as needed, to tanks and equipment, including tank entries and aiding in tank replacements as well as cleaning filters on the schedule set forth by management
  • Responsible for safety during entry of all employees actively involved in entry or maintenance being done.
  • Assist management in trouble shooting all tanks and solving plating problems.
  • Aid in developing specs for products in plating.
  • Perform plating operations according to the production schedule.
  • Responsible for handling of hazardous materials
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions well.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve on all plating processes.
  • Be able to work overtime, weekends, or on-call hours as needed.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments, gauges, and test equipment proficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to run and interpret Hull Cells.
  • Label any waste drums appropriately.
  • Must be able to work well with little or no supervision and exercise reasonable judgement independently.
  • Ability to lift to 70 pounds at frequent intervals.
  • Must maintain respiratory fit trained certification and confined space entry status.
  • Ability to stand stoop and bend at least 80 percent of the time.
