- Develop embedded firmware and middleware primarily in C and Python.
- Design and test electronic circuits and PCBA layouts.
- Integrate with enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create robust, testable hardware and firmware systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including Bills of Materials and design records
- Support PCBA fabrication by coordinating with contract manufacturers.
- Define and source components in collaboration with the supply chain team.
- Assist in product testing, production readiness, and transfer to manufacturing
- Work with Field Services to install and commission new systems.
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, issue resolution, and product refinements.
- Support customers with technical expertise—not sales—in a professional and responsive manner.
- Mid- and senior-level engineers may lead technical projects and mentor junior staff.
- Ensure projects stay aligned with technical, schedule, and cost expectations
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform field work at industrial sites.
- Must adhere to all safety requirements including PPE standards.
- Be safety and customer-focused, without exception
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in embedded firmware development and circuit-level troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, analog/digital design, and development tools.
- Experience with Linux environments and scripting in Python.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Junior: 0–2 years of relevant experience; eager to learn and grow.
- Mid-Level: 3–6 years; capable of leading initiatives and collaborating across teams.
- Senior: 7+ years; leads complex development efforts and mentor others.
- Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure), Altium Designer, and Atlassian tools.
- Experience with ultra-low power design and wireless communication protocols (BLE, LoRa, Zigbee).
- Understanding of battery systems and power optimization for embedded platforms
