We are seeking a creative and driven Media Production Specialist who is passionate about storytelling through visual media. This individual will be responsible for identifying projects worthy of being photographed, reaching out to homeowners for permissions, conducting professional photography and videography, and editing final content for use on social media, digital advertisements, and commercials. Additionally, the intern will support our Marketing and Operations Logistics Specialist by assisting with event setup, packing/unpacking, display organization, and on location event promotion via live social media.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and select completed home remodeling projects to photograph and film.
- Communicate with homeowners to schedule photography and videography sessions.
- Capture high-quality images and video content showcasing our remodeling work.
- Edit and produce final video/photo content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and marketing goals.
- Assist in preparing marketing campaigns for social media, commercials, and digital ads.
- Manage and organize raw footage, project files, and final assets.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and formats.
- Support recruiting team in creating campaigns to attract top talent to our open positions
- Travel to project sites and event locations within our markets (Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Cincinnati, OH; Dayton, OH; Nashville, TN).
- 5+ Years experience in photo retouching.
- 5+ Years experience in video editing and filming.
- 5+ Years experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Experience writing scripts, and guiding talent through engaging interviews.
- Professional level understanding of camera operations, videography techniques, audio, and lighting with an ability to adapt quickly during field shoots.
- Strong storyboarding skills with the ability to share ideas visually.
- Excellent communication skills for homeowner outreach and internal collaboration.
- A collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset with a passion for pushing creative work beyond the expected.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to travel to photoshoots across our expanding territory.
- Strong project ownership: detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- Work on a diverse assortment photography and videography projects.
- Exposure to marketing and branding strategies in the home remodeling industry.
- Experience working with a dynamic marketing team.
