- Conducts advanced risk assessments to identify residual and complex risks within the organization’s technology environments, ensuring all critical areas are evaluated for non-compliance.
- Supports the identification and evaluation of controls and adherence to controls, providing preliminary analysis and recommendations
- Maintains balanced approach toward risk management practices, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall risk appetite and adhering to compliance requirements and industry best practices.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive risk management documentation by standardizing, documenting, and consistently applying all risk management activities across the organization, under the guidance of peers and leaders.
- Monitors technology environments to detect, analyze and respond to emerging threats in real-time and works with partners to minimize and mitigate potential incidents.
- Assists in the investigation, root cause analysis and resolution of problems.
- Prepares detailed reports and documentation to support risk management activities and compliance efforts, providing clear and accurate records of risk assessments, mitigation actions and compliance status for internal stakeholders.
- Assesses potential impact of emerging technologies and industry trends, emerging threats and best practices in Technology Risk and Control, ensuring the organization remains proactive and prepare to address new and evolving risks.
- Performs in a supporting and often consulting capacity when meeting with Customers and Partners.
- Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- 3+ years of experience with global technology standards and applicable regulations as well as technology control domains (e.g., Identify & Access Management, Governance & Operations, IT General Controls)
- Experience with regulatory compliance and standards relevant to Tier III/IV data centers (e.g., ISO, FFIEC Handbooks, OCC, SOC)
- Experience in enterprise risk management with an emphasis on operational risk management and technology risk
- Experience with asset life cycle management, IT Service Management, critical operations and monitoring, controls, and other core business processes critical to a data center environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Solid grasp of the core functions that span a Data Center Infrastructure Service Delivery organization
- Relevant compliance and controls certifications
- Ability to successfully communicate with proficiency across streams and channels of business units and infrastructure teams at all levels.
