Recent experience with Cloudera and Hadoop is required, with a strong background in Unix and infrastructure.
Proficiency in Spark, Python, and Pyspark.
7 years of hands-on experience in software development, including 2 years in data engineering.
Experience with Hive and Impala and strong understanding of Java or Python.
5 years of experience in Hadoop; experience with Cloudera is a plus.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Strong background in SQL.
Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and self-motivation with minimal direction needed.
