Recruitment led by Jennie Joiner, Managing Partner, The Forum Group PNWAbout the RoleWe are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department and play a key role in managing financial operations across multiple entities. This role is focused on tax compliance, intercompany reconciliations, general ledger management, benefits reporting, and driving process improvements.The Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and partner with the CFO and leadership team, and supervise a small team in Albany while collaborating with accounting staff across additional locations. This role is 100% onsite in Albany, OR with minimal travel requirements.Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $85,000–$100,000
- Relocation: Not offered

- Reviews: Annual performance and cost-of-living reviews (2–3% increases)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with some flexibility for personal needs
- Dress Code: Business casual (jeans permitted)
- Travel: Up to 3 times per year
- Oversee federal, state, and local tax filings, including sales and use tax compliance
- Manage general ledger structure and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Lead ERP integration for tax reporting and compliance
- Partner with external advisors on tax matters and stay current with regulatory changes
- Oversee benefits reporting (health, 401k) and ensure compliance
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist CFO with clean and timely year-end audit preparation
- Streamline accounting processes and document SOPs
- Supervise, train, and develop staff, including direct reports in Albany
- Advise leadership on accounting policies, compliance, and fiscal procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with management responsibility
- Strong background in intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting
- Experience with tax compliance and general accounting operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Epicore Prelude, Oracle NetSuite a plus)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proven problem-solving ability
- Effective leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean record (occasional travel required)
