- Design, deliver, and oversee staff training programs, workshops, and learning opportunities for employees at all levels, with a focus on equity, ethics, trauma-informed care, professional boundaries, communication and cultural competency.
- Conduct needs assessment in collaboration with department leaders to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Maintain an annual training calendar and coordinate all logistics, including scheduling, materials, facilitators, and evaluation.
- Develop or source curriculum content that is mission-aligned and relevant to non-profit and human services work.
- Implement systems to track training completion, evaluate effectiveness, and report on key metrics.
- Develop onboarding modules for new hire, ensuring a consistent and supportive integration experience.
- Collaborate with HR staff on onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and leadership development programs.
- Ensure training content meets state, federal, and contractual compliance standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and workplace harassment prevention.
- Serve as a consultant to managers on staff development planning and performance coaching.
- Participate in the development, implementation and communication of a variety of HR programs including benefit administration, retirement, wellness and other HR activities.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates quarterly employee health and wellness activities to ensure all programs are accessible to all employees.
- Provide and execute learning and development content including training documentation, performance tracking and training delivery.
- Lead or support internal engagement surveys and follow-up action planning.
- Develop, update, and/or present various communications (e.g., announcements, newsletter articles, materials for meetings and trainings).
- Plans and supports organizational leadership projects, trainings and employee events (e.g., employee recognition and staff trainings).
- Attends human resource related seminars and conferences and stays current on trends and legal requirements.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of staff assigned under their supervision while monitoring and tracking workload and assignments.
- Assists in serving as a strategic partner and assists in developing and maintaining open and cooperative communication with Directors.
- Performs other duties including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
- Requires bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field. OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in training, adult education, or HR in a non-profit or human services environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance training, and workforce development.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design curriculum, evaluate outcomes, and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (HRIS).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Effective teambuilding, organizational, and leadership skills.

- Demonstrated knowledge of software technology and proficiency with remote meeting technologies
